Roy passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, 31st October 2026, aged 64 years.

A loving and devoted husband to Lynne, and a wonderful friend to so many, Roy was a much-loved and well-known character, particularly to many in the Bog. His sudden passing has brought great sadness to his family, friends and the wider community.

A familiar face to many, Roy was one of life’s true characters, someone who left a lasting impression on those he met. He was so well thought of by those who knew him, and his sudden passing has come as an enormous shock. The Bog has lost another of its much-loved characters, and things simply won’t be quite the same without him.

Roy’s great passion was Falkirk Football Club, a team that held a very special place in his heart. A proud Falkirk supporter through and through, his love for the Bairns was something he was well known for and will always be remembered. Roy will be dearly missed, not only by those closest to him, but by the many people whose lives he touched along the way.
