Moyra passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at her home address on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Joe and, later, of the late Norman, with whom she shared many happy years. A loving mum to Nicola, cherished grandma to Katie, Lewis, and Cameron, and a doting great grandma to Josh, Millie, and Gracie. A treasured sister to Ewen, Janis, William, and Pat, a wonderful aunt, and a great friend to many.

Moyra was a truly remarkable woman, strong, loving, and deeply devoted to those closest to her. Originally from Edinburgh, she carried that proud spirit and determination throughout her life, meeting every challenge with courage and grace.

Family was at the very heart of who she was. A proud mum, grandma, and great-grandma, she found her greatest happiness in her loved ones and the precious moments they shared. She raised her daughter with unwavering love and strong moral values, shaping her into the woman she is today.

Moyra was extremely family-oriented, finding joy in the simple things. Her family always knew they could turn to her for advice, honesty, and unconditional support.

She was also a loyal and caring friend who valued the people in her life deeply and cherished the friendships she built over the years. Her kindness and loyalty touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of sharing her life.

Moyra lived her life with love, grace, and purpose. She will be remembered always for her strength of spirit, her kindness, and, above all, her deep and enduring love for her family, a love that will remain forever in their hearts.
