Marilyn passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on Tuesday, 14th April 2026. She was a devoted wife to John, a much-loved mum to Michelle, John, and Claire, and a proud and loving nana to Jamie, Jack, Max, and Lara. She was also a dear sister, auntie, mother-in-law and a wonderful friend to many.

Marilyn was a truly lovely lady who was thought so highly of by everyone who knew her. She was warm and caring, always putting others before herself and offering kindness in both big and small ways.

Family was everything to Marilyn. She was a devoted wife, a loving and supportive mum, and a doting nana. The love she had for her family was clear in all that she did, and the memories she created with them will be treasured forever.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and by all whose lives she touched. Marilyn will always be remembered for her kindness and the love she shared so freely with those around her.
