Irene passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, 4th December 2025, aged 74 years.

Beloved wife of the late Peter, loving sister of Susan and the late Helen, cherished daughter of Blue and Margaret, a treasured aunty, sister-in-law, and great friend to many.

Irene was a wonderful sister and a deeply cherished friend, someone whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and warmth to everyone who knew her. She had a caring nature and a generous heart, always thinking of others and offering kindness without hesitation.

She loved nothing more than days out with family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and making memories together. Wonderful company and always up for a laugh, her smile and gentle humour will be missed more than words can say.

Although her passing was sudden, leaving her loved ones’ hearts heavy with sadness, they take comfort in knowing that Irene is reunited with her beloved Peter, together again for eternity. May she rest peacefully, surrounded by love, just as she was in life.
