Ian passed away suddenly, following a short illness, at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on Friday, 30th October 2026, aged 70 years.

A much-loved husband to Alison, a loving and devoted dad to Elaine, Claire, David, and Melanie, a cherished grandad to all his grandchildren, a dear brother to Cathy, a much-loved uncle, and a great friend to many.

Ian was loved dearly by his family and all those fortunate enough to know him. He meant so much to so many people, and his sudden passing has left an enormous sadness in the hearts of those closest to him.

Although Ian’s family are heartbroken by his passing, they will forever hold close the precious memories of the years they shared together. The love, laughter and special moments that made Ian such an important part of their lives will never be forgotten. His absence will be felt every day, and he will be loved, remembered and missed more than words could ever express.
