Georgie passed away peacefully at Strathcarron Hospice, surrounded by the love of her family, on Thursday, 15th October 2026, aged 76 years.

A beloved wife to the late Jim, a loving and devoted mum to Aileen, a much-loved mother-in-law to Aly, a cherished sister to Lorna, Marlyn, and the late Ivan and Heather, a doting gran to Jordan and Sam, and a treasured Granny G to Mason, Max, Mia, Mathew, Miller, Alfie, Brayden and Brodie. Georgie was also a much-loved sister-in-law, auntie, and a wonderful friend to so many.

Georgie was a real character, someone whose personality, warmth, and presence could never go unnoticed. She had a way of leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met, and life certainly won’t be quite the same without her. Her presence brought so much to the lives of those around her, and the memories, laughter, and special moments shared with Georgie will be treasured forever.

Family and friends meant everything to Georgie, and she meant just as much to them. She was always there for the people she loved, giving so much of herself and doing whatever she could for others. The love, kindness, and care she showed throughout her life will never be forgotten. Georgie leaves behind a lifetime of wonderful memories and a space in the lives of those who knew and loved her that nobody else could ever fill.
