Brian passed away suddenly at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary on Saturday, 22nd November 2025, aged 61. Beloved husband of Shonagh, a devoted father to Steff, Brian, Ashley, Kerry, Shannon, Eva, Cara, and Tia. Proud grandad to Lucas, Jax, Larson, and Lowen, he was also eagerly preparing to welcome his first baby granddaughter, who is due to arrive soon, a little one he was very excited to meet.

A wonderful husband and an amazing dad whose love wasn’t just spoken, but shown every single day in the way he cared, supported, and stood by the people he loved most. Being family-oriented wasn’t just a part of who he was; it was the very heart of him. He loved nothing more than being surrounded by his kids and grandkids. These were the moments that meant everything to him, and his pride in his family was immeasurable.

Spending time with friends was also a regular and important part of Brian’s life, along with the peace and challenge of hillwalking. Being outdoors brought him real happiness and helped strengthen his friendships and create memories that will be cherished forever.

Another passion in Brian’s life was his unwavering love for Glasgow Celtic FC. He was a loyal supporter in every sense, celebrating the victories, standing firm through the harder days, and proudly wearing the hoops with true devotion.

Brian will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the love he so generously gave. A devoted husband, a proud father and grandfather, a loyal friend, and a man whose spirit, warmth and kindness will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
